This is a fairly common to common bird along both slopes, though
they are absent from the interior highlands of our region. In
Honduras, I have seen this species at Cuero y Selado, El Jicarito
and Coastal Mosquitia including the lower parts of the Rio Platano.
My only sightings in Guatemala have been at Monterrico, where
they are common. Surprisingly, I have still never seen this
species in El Salvador.
