| This species has a large world range
that extends from the USA right down to the southern part of
South America. However, there are almost no records from our
region. Howell and Webb include Mosquitia in Eastern Honduras
within the range and place a question mark over southern Guatemala.
I have never seen this species within our region and the only
record I have heard of personally is an individual that was
seen by my friend Adam Narish when he visited the pine savannahs
of eastern Mosquitia near the border with Nicaragua. |
