Ashy Storm-Petrel Oceanodroma homochroa
I did not see this species with any certainty on either of my pelagic trips, which were off the coast of Guatemala on 11th May and off El Salvador on 2nd July. Two birds on the Guatemala trip were probably this species (others on the boat were convinced that they were), but they were chased in the boat and viewing conditions made it difficult to be certain. I am not sure if this species has been reliably reported in our region.
