Neotropic
Cormorant
Phalacrocorax
brasilianus

This is a fairly common to common resident along both slopes,
though Howell and Webb show them as absent from the central
highlands of our region. I have seen them at a number of coastal
locations on both slopes and at a number of inland lakes, all
of which fall within the range given by Howell and Webb. The
Double-crested Cormorant breeds on the keys of Belize and should
be looked for along the Caribbean coast, especially on the Caribbean
Islands of Honduras.
