Semiplumbeous Hawk

Leucopternis semiplumbea

This species reaches the northernmost part of its range in Eastern Honduras. Monroe cites one record of a bird that was seen on the Rio Sergovia, which is right on the border with Nicaragua. Bonta and Anderson give the status as rare in Honduras, but do not cite this as the only record, which implies that there have been more. I have still not seen this species in the region.
