Crypturellus
cinnamomeus

This is primarily a Pacific slope species, though it is also
found in the northern Peten of Guatemala (where Beavers describes
them as rare) and Howell and Webb include a couple of locations
in Central Honduras. They are difficult to see and are best
located by knowing the call. All of my records from the region
are from El Salvador, where I have seen or heard them at: Cerro
Verde, Colima, El Imposible and Nancuchiname.
